Chief Executive Officer
Gareth brings over 40 years of leadership excellence across education, retail, and operations to his role at Proficiency Matrix. As a former senior leader and AI implementation specialist, he has held strategic positions at global organisations, including Siemens, National Grid, and Study Group, specialising in navigating teams through complex organisational change and large-scale operational shifts.
His work is driven by a critical industry challenge: achieving 360° workforce intelligence and compliance coverage in a way that is accessible to everyone. By focusing on the human element of the AI Intelligence Layer, Gareth ensures that even non-technical teams can leverage advanced forecasting to solve the industry's most pressing issues—from retirement wave modelling to skills pipeline predictions.

Martin has a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects for major entities such as Restore Digital, Addleshaw Goddard LLP, and ExamWorks. His expertise lies in complex automation, workflow integration, and the development of sophisticated tracking systems. Having delivered high-impact solutions for several blue-chip companies and public sector bodies—including Mercedes Financial Services, Avis Europe, and the NHS—he ensures that our products are built with the security and precision required in today's enterprise landscape.
